F. A. Q

Q: How many people can you paint per hour?A: I can paint between 10 and 15 kids an hour, depending on design. I have 3 different types of designs - small (cheek/hand/arm), quarter, and half. Half faces take the longest, if you have a larger group of kids I recommend hiring for an extra hour or choosing my quick & fast design board.Q: Is your paint safe for all skin types?A: my paints are safe for most skin types. The paint is hypoallergenic and formulated with EED and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients. I strive to use the highest quality face paints, skin reactions are rare - if you have any concerns about a reaction a test patch can be done upon request.Q: How do you remove face paint?A: Liquid soap and warm water is the best option to remove face paint. Certain colours (red/green/blue) contain more pigment than others - because of this staining may occur. In the case of staining I recommend using baby oil or coconut oil, rinse and repeat as needed.Q: Is face painting just for kids?A: No! - I paint anyone that wants to be painted from age 3-112! Face painting is a popular addition to birthday parties, festivals and even weddings!Q: Is there anyone you won't paint?A: I cannot paint under 3 or anyone that doesn't want to be painted. I also will not paint anyone with open wounds, runny nose, cold sores, chicken pox, or any other infectious disease. In some cases I may be able to offer an arm or hand design instead.Q: I hired you for an event or birthday party - what should I expect?A: To maximize the time you paid for, I make it a habit to arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to my start time to set up. I expect parents to steer children away from my workspace until the time paid for begins, and to have at least one adult in the area to monitor behaviour or disruptive children.Q: Do you cater to themes?A: Yes, I do! I will create a design to match themes if I don't have a design readily available for it. If there is a theme (eg: Paw Patrol, My Little Pony etc.) I will typically offer 2 to 4 themed options alongside my usual staple choices.
